Changing the location of Windows System Folders

Ever wanted to change the location of certain Windows System Folders such as "My Documents", "Desktop", "Favorites" and the "Start Menu".  Whatever you motives, this tweak will allow you to do just that, and it works on all Windows versions!

1.  Start, Run, then type 'Regedit'

2.  Find the following key:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
    User Shell Folders]

3.  Take a look at the location Windows currently has your folders, then move them to the desired location using explorer.

4.  Update the location in the registry, and you are good to go!
